Stage 2 - Design
Solution Design
Spok solution architect(s) will take everything we learned from initial discovery to design your solution. Your Spok project manager will coordinate with you to have these findings presented to your executive sponsor and key stakeholders, and start defining the scope of your project based on your preferred recommendations.
We’ll create a Statement of Work detailing:
- Solution design with optimal configurations
- Software and hardware requirements
Readiness Assessment and Deployment Guide
We know that our solutions work best and provide the greatest benefit when we cover a few things in advance. Before installing your Spok solution you’ll receive four readiness worksheets (electronic documents) to review, complete, and return to us. Spok solution consultants will review the worksheets to ensure you have the right people, plans, and infrastructure in place to support successful implementation and rollout. You’ll receive the following worksheets:
- Roles and Responsibilities: Outline the individuals required
- Solution: Identify workflows and business requirements
- Technology: Consider your existing infrastructure
- Adoption: Develop deployment strategies and plan for end-user adoption
Readiness Assessment and Deployment Guide
We're excited to partner with you on this important work. As we enter the next phase of the project together, we want to ensure you understand the staffing and resources required to achieve a successful implementation and seamless rollout for both your IT and clinical teams. This guide will keep our teams aligned so we can help you achieve the established milestones every step of the way.
Roles and Responsibilities Worksheet
This worksheet identifies the team members we recommend for the implementation of your Spok® solution. Identifying these individuals will provide clarity on who does what for everyone involved, both from the “customer” (you) and “vendor” (Spok) side of the project.
Solutions Readiness Worksheet
This tool will help you identify required workflows, verify infrastructure to support your Spok® solution, provide the organizational structure (system owners, support processes, and policies), and collect all business requirements for solution configurations.
Technology Readiness Worksheet
It's important to ensure your existing infrastructure can support a successful implementation of your new Spok® solution. This worksheet walks you through those requirements, so you're properly prepared with the right resources and a full understanding of the technical infrastructure required.
Adoption Readiness Worksheet
Getting all clinicians and staff on board with using new technology and tools can be a challenge. This worksheet focuses on end-user satisfaction and successful long-term adoption. It will enable you to identify key stakeholders and end-users, develop solution deployment strategies, identify organizational goals and measurable outcomes, and create a plan for user education and communication.
Project Management
A Spok certified project manager will be your single point of contact, managing your project and providing the following remote consultation:
- Initiate project kickoff
- Identify, control, and prevent project risks
