Fix Smart Web Directory Display Order

Overview

This article explains how to correct the display order in the Directory tab within Smart Web.  This issue occurs when the Directory result for an individual in Smart Web is not showing the correct order of phone numbers after setting the Display Order option within the individual listing in Smart Center.

Resolution/Topic

1.  Login to the customer's web server and become the root user.

2.  As the root user edit the following file: /opt/amcom/webapps/stage/smartweb/WEB-INF/classes/com/amcomsoft/smartweb/directory/directory_config.properties

3.  Find the following value: sort_by_directory_displayOrder.  Set this value to TRUE.  Save and exit the file.

4.  Open the server's Weblogic console and update the deployment.  This will cause a brief server interruption for Smart Web.

5.  Repeat on any additional web servers the customer may have.
