Make phone numbers clickable via SMS to IOS devices

This article will cover how to format text messages to IOS devices to make the phone number easily clickable.

Resolution/Topic

When sending a message to an IOS device with a phone number you would like to be easily clickable the message must be formatted correctly.

On Android and most other devices simply sending the 10 digit number is sufficient for the device to determine that it is potentially a phone number and thus makes it clickable.

For IOS devices the phone number must be preceded by "tel:"
