Renewing SSL Certificates

When renewing SSL certificates, or when deleting and re-adding a certificate in any on-premises server, ensure that Spok Mobile Enterprise, the Platform Server, and the Mobile Server all have both named and nameless entries for port 443 in IIS. This ensures that services like Tenant Information and Feature Information function properly.

To create named and nameless bindings for port 443, configure the following settings in the administration interface:

  • In IIS Configuration, select Enable HTTPS.
  • In Server Settings, select HTTPS.

After these settings have been configured and saved, the named and nameless bindings for port 443 will be automatically created. The bindings will appear as shown below:
