Configuring Integrations with Other Spok Products
Manage the System Integrations
Integrations that are added and managed in the Spok Enterprise Administration system allow the services to integrate with the Data Repository Service which is managed on the Spok Server.
The Data Repository Service manages information for Spok products including contacts, relationships, schedules, and preferences. Because this information can be stored and managed in a central location, the Spok products that have the ability to integrate with DRS are updated with the information that is managed in the Data Repository Service.
This allows users to update information in the Data Repository Service. Then, the information is updated in all of their Spok products that have the ability to integrate with DRS. Users then only have to update information in the DRS, instead of manually entering and updating information in every individual Spok product that they use.
The services that are managed in the Data Repository Service are the systems that have the ability to be integrated with DRS. For example, the Critical Test Results Management (CTRM) product has the ability to integrate with DRS. Because it has that ability, CTRM must be added as a service inside of the DRS portion of the Spok Server as part of the integration between the CTRM product and DRS.
At this time, the Data Repository Service has the ability to integrate with the following Spok products:
- Critical Test Results Management
- Spok Console Suite (IntelliSuite)
- Smart Suite
- Spok Mobile
- Spok Web
- MediCall Suite
