Updating Database Connection for a Smart Suite-Integrated Spok Mobile Environment Upgrade

During an upgrade of a Smart Suite-integrated Spok Mobile 4.0, 4.2, or 4.4 environment to a 4.6 environment, there may be an extra step to complete. If the older environment used a TNS database alias to access the Smart Suite database, the Connect Descriptor must be updated before you can access the administrative interface. After the Care Connect Installer has run, a browser tab opens to the Edit Database Connection to AMCOM Database screen so the Smart Suite database connection information can be updated in the Connect Descriptor field. See Adding a Smart Suite Integration for more information about configuring the Oracle connect descriptor.
