TNPP Errors
The following table lists the Smart Alert errors for the TNPP module.
| Error No. | Initiated | Description | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10000 | TNPP | Link is down | Check the error log for possible reasons. Also check the Amcom (Smart Suite) TNPP process(es), the serial connection, and the paging terminal. |
| 10001 | TNPP | The paging terminal's queue is full. Pages will be delayed. | This problem should correct itself. If it continues, contact the administrator of your paging terminal or RCC. |
| 10002 | TNPP | Too many NAKs received | Check the serial connection between the Amcom (Smart Suite) server and the paging terminal. |
| 10003 | TNPP | Invalid page packet | Check the paging tables in the Smart Center database for invalid data. |
| 10004 | TNPP | Invalid port | Check the value of PORT in the tnpp.ini file. If this is correct, verify that the port is configured properly. |
| 10005 | TNPP | Invalid login | Check the login SQL in tnpp.ini. |
| 10006 | TNPP | No carrier | Check the phone circuits and modems at the Amcom (Smart Suite) server and the RCC paging terminal. |
| 10007 | TNPP | No dial tone | Check the phone circuits and modems at the Amcom (Smart Suite) server. |
| 10008 | TNPP | No answer | Verify the phone number in the RCC table. |
| 10009 | TNPP | Modem is Busy | This may happen occasionally during normal operation. If it continues, contact your paging RCC. |
| 10010 | TNPP | Modem error | Check the modem and all connections. |
| 10011 | TNPP | Lost connection | This may happen occasionally during normal operation. If it continues, check all connections, and contact your paging RCC. |
| 10012 | TNPP | Page port has been switched. | Contact your paging provider. |
| 10013 | TNPP | Too many pages | Contact your system administrator. |
| 10014 | TNPP | Wait For Response Timeout | |
| 10015 | TNPP | Unexpected Character | |
| 10016 | TNPP | Invalid Initialization File | The initialization file is unreadable or has an invalid section or keyword. |
