VWAS Download Timeout

Overview

When logging into Smart Console, an error is received stating the download timeout for voice greetings has been exceeded and voice greetings do not play.


CSmartConsoleApp::initOperatorSaver: start download.bat at 05-11-2018 08:08:44 should finish no later than 120 seconds

CSmartConsoleApp::downloadGreeting: download.bat did not finish within 120 seconds current time = 05-11-2018 08:10:44 look at file 'C:\Users\Spok User\AppData\Local\Temp\\fna09060.bat'.  You may need to increase the time wait in the registry string 'VOICE WITH A SMILE DOWNLOAD TIME LIMIT' in Smart Console Registry

Resolution/Topic

Open the registry to the following location:

64 Bit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Amcom\Smart Console

32 Bit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Amcom\Smart Console

If the "VOICE WITH SMILE DOWNLOAD TIME LIMIT" key does not exist, add it manually:
 

Right-click Smart Console and choose String Value and rename it to “VOICE WITH SMILE DOWNLOAD TIME LIMIT"

Then double the new string and enter the number of seconds for which the timeout should be set:
